Hello Everyone,
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of our Awesome patients! Your support during this
time was most appreciated. We are excited that we are able to resume performing non-
emergency dental procedures while continue following up all state and federal guidelines for
social distancing.
As we are ready to see your smiling face again, we know things will be a bit different for all of
us moving forward. At this time we want to inform you that as your health care provider, our
entire staff has been trained and know proper procedures and protocol of sterilization and
disinfection. In fact, this has always been a requirement for any staff member on board into our
dental practice. We are also implementing additional forms of disinfecting our rooms by using
cold fogger sprayer sterilization machine, which is proven to kill 99.9% of germs.
Rest assured in the fact, that moving forward, we will be taking extra precautions with each and
every patient we see. You may also notice changes in the way our team members dress and the
way you are guided into and out of our doors. These changes will reflect guidelines from the
standard operating procedures we received and practice from organizations such as ADA, CDC,
OSHA, and others.
Most importantly, we want you to know that we are here for you, thinking of you, and want you
to feel welcome and safe as you return to us for your treatments. Now that we are opening for
elective procedures, here are some new protocols we have in place, to ensure your safety
and safety of others:
- All patients who have an appointment with our office, will have to answer a COVID-19 screening questionnaire 24 hour before treatment. Separate link to the questionnaire will be either e-mailed or texted to you.
- We ask that you do not bring any family members with you to the office. If you are
bringing in your child, please do not bring your other children. We also ask that only one
parent/guardian accompany their child.
- We might call you 15 minutes before your appointment and ask you to remain in your car until we're ready to see you. This ensures that you do not bump into other patients and maintains social distancing. This also allows us time to make sure all common surfaces are wiped clean before you enter the office.
- All paperwork will be texted or e-mailed to you to fill out before your appointment.
- All unconfirmed appointments will be canceled 48 hours before the appointment. This is because we do a lot of prep work to see patients at this time. We also have a long wait list for procedures and are limited to the number of people that can be seen in the office at a certain time. These measure are for your health and safety. We, therefore, ask to please confirm your appointment via text, e-mail or phone call.
- Please remember if you need to change or cancel your appointment we require 48 hours notice. Each time a patient misses an appointment without providing proper notice, another patient is prevented from receiving care. Therefore, 21st Century Dental Care reserves the right to charge a fee of $100 for all missed appointments ("no shows") and appointments which absent a compelling reason. Thank you for understanding and cooperation as we strive to best serve the needs of all patients
- Lastly, remember dental health is part of overall health. If you have unhealthy teeth and gums, it will put you at a higher risk of getting other viral and bacterial infections. So, please do not ignore your dental health.
We will be sending additional e-mails and texts to notify you if you are due for your regular
cleaning and check-up of if you have uncompleted treatment plan. Please feel free to call our
office to schedule your appointment.
My team and I are looking forward to seeing you all soon!
Dr. Vitaly Friedman and his team.
